The thing that sets Grand Isle apart from the larger communities nearby is the full-time activities director. Somebody is paid to keep the calendar full, which matters more than it sounds if you are moving here from out of the area and do not know anyone yet.

At 336 homes it sits between its neighbors in scale. Heritage Isle has about 1,500 homes and a 21,000 square foot clubhouse. Bridgewater at Viera has 870 and was built by Lennar from 2017. Del Webb at Viera is still under construction by Pulte.
