The Timbers at Everlands is a 55+ gated community in Palm Bay, built by Lennar. Construction began in 2023 and homes are actively selling, so this is a community you can still buy new in.

That is a wide spread of sizes and home types, which makes it worth a look if you are not settled yet on how much house you want.

Where The Timbers sits in Palm Bay
The Timbers is in Palm Bay, at the southern end of Brevard County, with access to beaches, golf courses and the Kennedy Space Center.
It is the only 55+ community on our list in Palm Bay, so if you want to be at this end of the county, this is the one. The nearest others are in West Melbourne: Compass Pointe and Savannahs at Sawgrass Lakes.
What to check before you buy here
With a community still selling, ask which amenities are open now and which are scheduled, and get the answer in writing from the builder rather than from a brochure. Then read the association documents on how the age rules apply to your household. Our guide to 55+ communities in Brevard County compares all nine.
