Bridgewater at Viera is a 55+ gated community in West Viera. Lennar built it starting in 2017, so every home here is newer construction, and there are 870 single-family homes across 408 acres. About 125 of those acres are lakes, so a good number of the homes back onto water.
If you are looking at Bridgewater, it is worth deciding which collection suits you before you tour, because a Villa and a Classic are close to a thousand square feet apart.

Where Bridgewater sits in Viera
Bridgewater is in West Viera, minutes from The Avenues Viera for shopping and restaurants, and a short drive from the beach. If you are weighing the area itself rather than this particular community, we keep a guide to living in Viera.
Viera has three other 55+ communities to see. Heritage Isle is far larger at about 1,500 homes. Grand Isle is smaller at 336 and has a full-time activities director. Del Webb at Viera is still being built by Pulte.
What to check before you buy here
Read the association documents. Every community on our list is 55 and over, but the rules are not identical between them, and how each treats a younger spouse or a grandchild staying the summer varies. Ask before you settle on a house rather than after. Our guide to 55+ communities in Brevard County sets all nine side by side.
Seeing it for yourself
A Villa and a Classic feel like different houses, and Bridgewater is easy to pair with Heritage Isle or Grand Isle in the same morning. Get in touch and we will line them up for you.
